United States: E-mail delivery rates are high
across all major vertical markets, according to Bigfoot Interactive quarterly
benchmark analysis of e-mail performance. Editorial newsletter (97.6 percent
delivery, an improvement from the same period of the last year) and service
messaging from financial services companies (96.8 percent, up 3.1 versus
the same period last year) were responsible for the highest performances.
Auto marketers have reached a 21.2 percent increase in overall click-troughs.
Retail and catalog marketers had overall delivery rates of 94 percent.
Invalid addresses and e-mail address changes lead the cause of non deliverable
messages.
Bigfoot's automated e-mail technology DREAM was the responsible for the
analysis, which was based on mailings from the first day of January to
the last day of March 2005.
