Research shows where'd the best spot be to place ads
13-07-2005
Columbia: The University of Missouri - Columbia
School of Journalism recently finished researching that shows that placing advertisement and links in the middle of news and articles makes them easy to remember. Although, there's also pointed as the place where users find them more annoying.
The study proves that advertisements do not interfere in the publication's credibility, but users seem to blame the sponsor for the interruption of editorial flow. Users regard sponsors that place ads in the end of the text as rather trustable, although not so easy to remember.
