August 23th, 2005: There has become internet's new fever. As soon as the first ones started to appear on the World Wide Web, everybody got into make their own. After all, to create one is dead easy and much easier to keep up with the latest news and recent updates. However, that is not all. Likewise, diaries, they allow people to write whatever they want, on whatever subject they feel like, but with the advantage that texts can be placed on the internet, with no costs. They really changed things on the internet, and now coming about higher levels. I am talking about blogs, of course.
In the beginning, mostly teenagers made use of that tool. They put in blogs everything about their lives, their opinions, their stories... so; there was kind of a teenager spirit about the blog concept. However, recently, even the big companies started to use that tool. Why? For many reasons: the facilities, the low cost, and the possibility to communicate on other levels... Nevertheless, one thing that surely made people's mind was that blogs have a high visibility on search engines. Moreover, that happens because of some factors, like frequent updates, many incoming links, meaningful page titles, important texts in header elements, amongst others. Sure, that is not all. Google owns blogger.com, for an example. However, all those elements combined form a simple and efficient way to keep people informed about events. Suddenly, blogs became grown ups', too.
